Originally reached no.13 in the UK charts in 1996 – taken from the top 30 album DEAD CITIES and loosely based on “Rachael’s song” from BLADERUNNER by Vangelis. The Singles is the second greatest hits album of Savage Garden, released in Australia on 12 June 2015. Its release was in mark of the 20th anniversary of the band's signing to Roadshow Music in 1995, released through Universal who had acquired the band's catalogue due to the folding of Roadshow in 2013, and coincided with re-released expanded editions of their two studio albums Savage Garden and Affirmation. The compilation also contains a DVD featuring almost all of the band's music videos (only missing the second version of To the Moon and Back). A previously unreleased track, a demo from 1994 entitled "She", was premiered and released on 15 May and also features on the album. A limited edition of the album was released in Japan on May 25, 2016, and features an image of Josuke Higashikata from the Diamond is Unbreakable arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure after the track "I Want You" was used as the ending theme of the anime adaptation.

Rhyton is the Brooklyn based trio of Dave Shuford (D. Charles Speer and the Helix, No Neck Blues Band), Jimy SeiTang (Stygian Stride) and Rob Smith (Pigeons). Rhyton take ancestral forms, instrumentation and scales, primarily sourced from Middle Eastern and Greek traditions, and incorporate them into the context of scorching improvised rock.

A flow of modern compositions inspired by personal spiritual explorations. The majority of this 6 piece work, Jnana-Vijnana was inspired by an event, in 2012, shortly after I attended a Self-realization seminar with a guru from India, Pujyashree Deepakbhai. That year I had been investigating Schopenhauer vis a vis Wagner and Zen philosophy, eventually leading to regular practice of Yoga and meditation. I had a very strong experience at the seminar, and that culmination yielded the composition and first track entitled Transfigured.

Tenor saxophonist and clarinetist Matt Bauder is one of those young musicains who has an equal capacity to play in and out of the formal idiomatic conventions. When with Memorize the Sky he goes out, profiting from his studies with the innovative composers Anthony Braxton, Alvin Lucier and Ron Kuivila. Conversely, his band Day in Pictures (now reformed by replacing Angelica Sanchez for Kris Davis) operates completely in jazz domains, and does it very much according to the tradition. The truth is that the jazz tradition has defined a space for freedom right from the start, and Bauder is a master of combining that freedom with form.
